Rising Yogis offers yoga sessions that build strength, flexibility, focus and wellbeing for young people.
Founded by Laura, a former secondary school teacher and specialist children’s and teen yoga teacher, Rising Yogis offers nurturing, age-appropriate classes that support physical and emotional wellbeing for young people in secondary schools. Through movement, breathwork and mindful awareness, students build strength, flexibility, confidence and focus in ways that support both school life and everyday wellbeing.
Based in Farnham, Surrey, Rising Yogis partners with secondary schools to bring yoga, mindfulness and breathwork into daily school life.
Meet Laura
Rising Yogis’ Founder
As a mum of two young boys and a former secondary school teacher, I know that young people thrive when they have opportunities to move, challenge themselves, build confidence and develop emotional regulation. I created Rising Yogis because I believe yoga offers a unique combination of movement, self-awareness and calm, helping young people develop strength, flexibility, focus and resilience while supporting their overall wellbeing.
With a background in education and specialist yoga training, I bring a gentle, intuitive approach that meets each student just as they are, supporting young people to feel stronger, calmer and more confident in school and everyday life.
