Yoga in Schools
Rising Yogis offers tailored yoga programmes designed to build strength, flexibility, focus and wellbeing in schools. Each session blends movement, breathwork and mindful awareness in age-appropriate, accessible ways.
Yoga helps students to build strength, flexibility and confidence whilst also developing emotional regulation and self-awareness, and offering a chance for students to find stillness and reconnect with themselves amidst the busy pace of school life.
Rising Yogis currently works with:
β’ Secondary schools: offering curriculum delivery, enrichment sessions and targeted yoga programmes
Yoga for Young People (ages 11-18)
These sessions offer supportive, engaging spaces that blend yoga postures, movement, breathwork and mindfulness. Each session is adapted to the age, energy and needs of the group on the day.
Programmes may include dynamic yoga flows, strength-building postures, partner and group activities, breathwork, relaxation practices, guided meditation, Yoga Nidra and reflective discussion. Sessions are designed to be accessible, enjoyable and relevant to young people, while offering practical tools they can use both in and beyond the classroom.
Depending on the programme, students may explore themes such as self-awareness, confidence, self-compassion, healthy relationships, belonging and resilience, helping young people develop a stronger understanding of themselves, others and the world around them.

A supportive space to stretch, reflect, and reconnect, helping young people manage stress, build strength, and find moments of calm through yoga, breath and mindfulness:
β’ Week 1: Ground & Arrive β Rooting into the body through simple movement and steady breath
β’ Week 2: Feel & Flow β Exploring how emotions show up physically, with flowing sequences to release tension
β’ Week 3: Strength & Stability β Building physical strength and balance to support inner resilience
β’ Week 4: Boundaries & Breath β Using strong poses and grounding breath to support self-awareness
β’ Week 5: Let Go to Grow β Releasing stress and pressure through movement, rest and reflection
β’ Week 6: Shine & Reflect β A closing session to celebrate calm, confidence and personal growth. Classes combine breath, flow and stillness, building physical and emotional resilience. Every practice is adaptable and inclusive, with space for young people to move, rest, and reconnect in their own way.
