FAQs
-
Rising Yogis partners with Secondary Schools, Alternative Provisions (APs), Elective Home Education Communities (EHE), and Youth Charities and Community Hubs to support the wellbeing of students through secular, evidence-informed sessions. Classes are open to all young people, including neurodiverse and sensitive individuals.
-
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to the age group and energy in the room. We combine yoga-inspired movement, breathwork, mindfulness, moments of stillness and somatic education, always in a way that feels safe, accessible and enjoyable.
Sessions often include guided breathwork, mindfulness, and physical yoga practices such as vinyasa-inspired flow or restorative poses, alongside space for rest, reflection and regulation.
-
Not at all. Rising Yogis sessions are suitable for all students, with no prior yoga experience, flexibility or fitness required. The emphasis is on wellbeing, not performance.
-

In Secondary Schools and Alternative Provisions (APs), sessions are designed to fit comfortably within your timetable, whether that is delivering to a full class group or a smaller, targeted cohort. For Youth Charities and Community Hubs, and Elective Home Education (EHE) Communities, I keep group sizes small and supportive, typically with a maximum of 12 young people, to ensure the space remains calm, safe and accessible for everyone.
-
That’s completely okay. Young people are encouraged to join in at their own pace, and there’s never pressure to perform. Simply being present in a calm, regulated space can have a positive effect, even without active participation.
